Dec. 3

14700 block of Baltimore Avenue. Northface jacket, red and black in color stolen from Macy's Department Store by a black male, 16 to 20 years of age, 6', 170 lbs.

Dec. 4

100 block of Saint Mary's Place. Purse stolen from van parked at Pallotti Day care.

14700 block of Baltimore Avenue. Thirty Twilight Woods body lotion, shower gel and body splash stolen from Bath and Body Works Store by a black male who grabbed the items and fled the store without payment.

200 block of Patuxent Road. Coins and key stolen from a parked SUV truck.

200 block of Patuxent Road. Garmin GPS device stolen from a parked car.

Dec. 5

500 block of Compton Avenue. Business Planner, black in color, stolen from a parked car.

154000 block of Arbory Way. Failure to pay a cab driver for a fare from Arbory Way to Montgomery County. The suspect is a black female, 6' 175 lbs. Police have identified the suspect. Investigation is continuing.

Dec. 6

13600 block of Baltimore Avenue. A ground fence system and three in ground fence systems stolen from PetSmart by two black males, 25-30 years of age.

Dec. 9

Unit block of Avondale Street. An iPod Nano was stolen from a parked SUV.

7600 block of Arbory Court. Four wheels and tires stolen off a parked car by two black males who fled in a silver small car, possibly a Kia Spectra, south on Van Dusen Road.

14200 block of Oxford Drive. Entry gained through a window. A Vizio 32-inch flat screen TV, Samsung 15-inch flat screen TV, Samsung 32-inch flat screen TV, Proscan 32-inch flat screen TV, Proscan 19-inch flat screen TV, two camcorders, tennis shoes, Toshiba laptop computer, Two HP laptop computers, Xbox game system, Nintendo Wii game system and various change.

Dec. 10

9300 block of Creekview Drive. Attempted burglary by breaking a rear window of a home. Entry not gained.

Robberies

Dec. 5

900 block of Fairlawn Avenue. A 21-year-old Hanover man reported that he was robbed and assaulted by five to seven black males at Laurel Shopping Center. The victim was treated for an orbital and possible jaw fracture at an area hospital. A wallet and earrings were taken during the robbery that occurred at 1:40 a.m. as the victim and friend were returning to their car.

Dec. 9

900 block of West Street. A 48-year-old Laurel resident reported to police that he was approached by a black male at his residence and thought the man was going to ask for directions, but instead pushed him and jumped into the victim's white 2002 Ford F-150 truck with Maryland tags 69W528 and drove off, but not before backing the stolen truck into a neighbor's Mazda truck. The suspect is described as a black male, 35 years of age, 5'08", wearing a red hooded sweatshirt.
