The following is a summary of incidents in the upcounty to which the Montgomery County Police responded recently. The words "arrested" and "charged" do not imply guilt.
Commercial robbery
- On Nov. 20 at 8:07 p.m. Rite Aid, 19927 Century Boulevard in Germantown. A female was arrested.
Attempted strong-arm robbery
- On Nov. 25 at 7:40 p.m. in the 18000 block of Cottage Garden Drive in Germantown.
Strong-arm robbery
- On Nov. 20 at 2:37 p.m. in the 19200 block of Deep Run Court in Germantown.
- On Nov. 20 at 11:26 p.m. in the 18900 block of Ferry Landing Circle in Germantown.
- On Nov. 20 at 3:52 p.m. in the unit block of Steeple Court in Germantown.
- On Nov. 24 at 7:30 p.m. in the unit block of Sky Blue Court in Germantown. Property taken.
- On Nov. 29 at 7:46 p.m. in front of Panera Bread, 19718 Germantown Road in Germantown. The victim struggled with the black male suspect after he grabbed the victim's purse. Suspect obtained property and cash taken.
Commercial burglary
- Butler's Orchard, 22222 Davis Mill Road in Germantown, at 7:58 a.m. Nov. 20.
- Rite Aid, 11200 block of Bethesda Church Road in Damascus at 12:29 p.m. Nov. 20.
- Woodfield Store, 23716 Woodfield Road in Gaithersburg, at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 23.
Residential burglary
- 19700 block of Maycrest Way in Germantown, at 9:21 a.m. Nov. 20.
- 18900 block of Piney Point Place in Germantown, at 3:19 p.m. Nov. 20.
- 13400 block of Rising Sun Lane in Germantown, at 11:20 a.m. Nov. 24. Unknown entry, suspect fled when discovered by victim.
