Queen Anne boys rally, but lose to Avalon
Haley has career high 36 points as Lions take three-point loss on Wednesday
The Queen Anne School boys' basketball team got a monster performance from senior Larry Haley, but dropped a 65-62 decision to The Avalon School of Gaithersburg on Wednesday night.
Haley scored a career-high 36 points and added 15 rebounds. Senior guard Dean Bolt added 10 points and six rebounds, and freshman Justin Ramey added nine points and nine assists. The Lions trailed by double digits before rallying to tie the game late in the fourth quarter before Avalon escaped with the win.
