Chamber of Commerce looks for donations for Holiday on Duty

The Wheaton & Kensington Chamber of Commerce is asking for donations from the community to provide meals for public safety personnel that are on duty during Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Public safety personnel include police from the Fourth District station, Wheaton Volunteer Rescue Squad, members of Bethesda Police District in charge of policing Kensington, and the Kensington Volunteer Fire Department stations 5 and 16.

Silver Spring chamberhosts December events

A networking breakfast sponsored by the Greater Silver Spring Chamber of Commerce will be held 7:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. Dec. 6 at El Aguila, 8649 16th St., Silver Spring.
