Promoting community support
[On] Nov. 8, the Laurel Historical Society hosted our second annual Taste of Laurel. We started holding this event last year to promote small, local businesses and give the community an opportunity to see all that Laurel has to offer. We are able to hold this event through the support of our sponsor, Main Street Pharmacy, who works with us to help the Laurel business community thrive.
We had over 100 people attend the event on a bright beautiful fall day. The Laurel Historical Society would like to thank all who attended and had the opportunity to meet local restaurants and businesses. We would also like to sincerely thank our participating vendors Aunt Susan's Kitchen, Fruit Flowers, Kafe Kabob, Main Street Sports Bar and Grill, Mango's Grill, Nuzbacks, Red Hot & Blue and Toucan Taco for taking part in the event.
Finally, we would like to thank Main Street Pharmacy, a true community business who regularly supports the Laurel Historical Society.
We hope to see all of these vendors and members of the Laurel community next year at our third Taste of Laurel.
