Maryland City Mustangs U-9 girls win division title
The Maryland City Mustangs U-9 girls' soccer team won the Anne Arundel Youth Soccer Association Division 3 title with a 9-0 record. The Mustangs had shutouts in seven of the nine games as they outscored their opponents 42-3. Allie Ritter was the division's leading scorer, and Sasha Baghdadi, Veronica Griswold, Claira Schiffrik, Grace Kigo and Sallay Fofana also contributed on offense. Crystal Krug, Cecilia Ramirez, Nyah Doe, Nina Sadoski and Carley Wilson led the defense, and goalkeeper Madelyn Ault allowed just one goal all season.
U-11 girls share division title
The Maryland City Mustangs U-11 girls' soccer team finished in a first-place tie with the Severn Athletic Club in the Anne Arundel Youth Soccer Association Division 2. The Mustangs and Severn played to a scoreless tie last week. Mustangs' goalkeepers Skylar Taylor and Lauren Ritter shared their third consecutive shutout with defensive support from Elyssa Bellofatto, Victoria Comings and Nisha Modali. Anissa Mose, Catherine Ault, Kori Whiteside, Ellie Schiffrik and Alexa Adler led the offense for the Mustangs, while Michaela Tuohey, Jasmine Aragon and Brandi Krug controlled the midfield.

U-10 girls' soccer team played the Bandits to a 1-1 tie in the final game of the fall season. Sophie Watters scored for the Mustangs, and Georgia Reitzel and goalkeeper Brittany Johnson contributed solid performances.
