Jacobs mark 50 years
Jim and Beth Jacobs of Mount Airy recently hosted a dinner party at their home to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. They were joined by their daughters Jill, Diana and Sally and their families, as well as a few close friends and their maid of honor, Leanne Mensing of Indiana, Beth's older sister.
Guests were entertained with a slideshow looking back over their 50 years together.
The couple was married Oct. 24, 1959 in Fort Wayne, Ind. Active in their community, they have lived in Mount Airy for more than 35 years and attend St. Michael's Catholic Church.
