RESULTS
The MVSA Anklebitter Patriot football team beat Peppermill, 13-6 in the league's playoff semifinals. The defense was led by linebackers Gino Florian, Tyree Haynes, Lee Jarmon, Malik Bleau, Brandon booker and Keon Powell, forcing three turnovers. Running back Michael Smith rushed for 75 yards and a touchdown, while quarterback Saquan Beasely added 70 and a score. Jack Malakoff, Malik Mosely, Dante Smith, and Brice Jackson anchored the offensive line.
The MVSA Anklebitter American football team qualified for the Capital Beltway League championship with a 20-0 defeat of Laurel. Raheim Clark rushed for 82 yards and two touchdowns, while Tremayn Stott added 103 and another. The shutout was led by Daquan Wims, Derek Fox, Jashawn Parrott, Stephen Armstrong and Kahlill Owens.
