Raynor, Hathorn hold October nuptials

Sandra Lynn Raynor and Donny Ray Hathorn were married Oct. 14, 2006, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Frederick.

Bishop Cody Tower presided.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Raynor of Walkersville. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Ford of Dallas, Texas and the late Mr. Ray Hathorn.

Cassandra Nelson, long time friend of the bride, attended as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Amy Brinton, Kimberly Raynor and Michelle Raynor, sisters of the bride.

Serving as the best man was Chris Fischer, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Boris Kutman, friend of the groom, James Raynor, brother of the bride, and J.C. Hathorn, brother of the groom.

Music for the ceremony was provided by soloist Lenore Odekirk of Damascus, pianist Wendy Johnston of Frederick and pianist Amy Brinton of Salt Lake City, Utah. A poem reading was provided by Kimberly Raynor of Salt Lake City, Utah.

A reception followed the ceremony.

The bride, a 2005 graduate of L.V. Berkner High School of Richardson, Texas, attended Frederick Community College and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in nursing.

The groom, a 2004 graduate of L.V. Berkner High School, is currently serving in the United States Navy and is stationed on the U.S.S. Bataan.

The couple resides in Norfolk, Va.
