Woman robbed at gunpoint in front of home
Gunman demanded purse and fled
A Bowie woman was robbed at gunpoint in front of her home early Sunday morning, according to a report from the Bowie Police Department.
The woman had just returned to her home in the 12100 block of Foxhill Lane at about 12:45 a.m. and was getting out of her car in her driveway when a man with a black handgun approached and demanded her purse, police said.
The woman gave the man her purse, which contained $15. The man then fled.
The woman was not injured.
