Catherine Lillian Duvall, 97, of Sandy Spring died Oct. 29, 2009, at Brook Grove Rehabilitation Center.

Born Aug. 30, 1912, in Fulton, she was the wife of the late Alton Duvall.

Mrs. Duvall worked as a switchboard operator for Washington Cathedral Schools in Washington, D.C.

Survivors include a daughter, Joan Utter of Silver Spring; a son, Robert Duvall of Burtonsville; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Nov. 7 from 1-2 p.m. at Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A.., 313 Talbott Avenue, Laurel, where service will begin at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery in Burtonsville.
