Youth sports: Boys' soccer team stays undefeated
Junior Hernandez and Kevin Aponte combined for three goals as the Berwyn Heights U-14 boys' soccer team moved to 6-0 in county league play with a 4-2 victory against Laurel. Angel Maza and Freddie Pineda provided a defensive boost off the bench for Berwyn Heights, while Tito Romero and Colby Francoeur controlled the midfield throughout the second half. Berwyn Heights can complete its first undefeated season with a victory this weekend against Fort Washington.
