The Mount Airy Bulldogs Mini-Pony Division I football team recently tied the Walkersville Lions, 6-6 to share the Mountain Valley Football Mini-Pony League championship.

Offensively, the 8-0-1 Bulldogs were led by Dominic Bracalente, Dean Greer, Cooper Fabry, James Bossard, Evan Griffith, Aiden Bawcombe, Casey McKinney, Daniel Marshall, Colton Burger, and Christopher Eastlake.

Defensively, Mount Airy's Brendan Conners, Jarred Haught, Patrick Quinn, Matthew Gue, T.J. Hogan, Mathew Mellstrom, Kellen Arthur, Noah Grenis, Grayson Eller and Michael Crown led the way.

The organization looks forward to the infusion of talent from its Division II players next season.

The Western Howard County (WHC) Renegades Under-12 baseball team is seeking players to fill the Maryland Amateur Baseball Association Division 1 team and the newly formed Division 2 team.

The South Mountain Magic Girls 14U AAU basketball team is forming its team for the Spring 2010 season.

The Dynasty 1993 Premier girls team is looking for three talented club players to complete its roster. Dynasty is an Under-16 girls team preparing to compete in college showcase tournaments for the 2009-2010 season.

Central Maryland Futsal League will start its first league session in December and its second in January for ages 5 and up.
