I met Jason Judd more than 20 years ago when he was a high school student working part-time at the newly opened Tauraso's Ristorante in downtown Frederick. I well remember his focus, work ethic, and the quietly serious manner he brought to the job. He had goals.

Since that time, exhibiting the same qualities, Jason has acquired an impressive educational and professional resume studded with solid accomplishments. He has shown the ability to organize and execute complex programs, including work to curtail unfair practices by big business interests, which has benefited all of us.

Jason's enlightened and exciting proposed "Sustainable Frederick" initiative is clearly a good indication of the visionary leadership he offers the residents of Frederick city.

His well organized, inclusive and well executed campaign demonstrates he has the leadership ability to bring people together. The next few years will present daunting economic, social and environmental challenges for our city.

Based on his past performance, Jason has shown that he is well equipped to provide the leadership necessary to deal with these issues. I believe he is the right person at this time in our history to serve as mayor.
