Police investigating homicide in Capitol Heights area
Officers responded for call of shooting, male victim identified

Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Thursday morning in the 900 block of Drum Avenue in the Capitol Heights area.
Around 5 a.m. Prince George's County police officers responded to the area for a report of a shooting and found Antonio DeShawn Baxter, 28, inside a vehicle with trauma to the body, county police said. Baxter lived in the block where he was found. He died on the scene.
Capitol Heights police said Baxter had been shot. The shooting occurred a few blocks outside the town limits.
County detectives are working to identify a suspect and establish a motive in the homicide.
