Ella Spring
Ella Katherine Spring, 98, of Denton, formerly of Rockville, died of natural causes on Oct. 23, 2009.
Born May 12, 1911, in New York, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Martin F. and Mary F. Zanini Wacker.
She was the wife of the late John J. Spring, who died in 1984.
Mrs. Spring was a member of the Montgomery County Recreation Senior Club, St. Patrick's Leisure Club and St. Jude's Leisure Club.
Survivors include two children, Robert L. Spring of Middle Village, N.Y., and Marion Beckwith of Coral Springs, Fla.; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Viewing will held 6-8 p.m. today at Moore Funeral Home, 12 S. Second St. in Denton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Elizabeth's Roman Catholic Church in Denton. Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Aspen Hill.
