Hot Tickets: Not-so-scary stories
The third year of the StoryTheatre Series for preschoolers at Imagination Stage, 4908 Auburn Ave., Bethesda, kicks off with storyteller Alison Gee, who is returning for her third appearance at 10:30 and 11:45 a.m. today, Thursday and Saturday. Her new approximately 40-minute show features not-so-scary Halloween-themed stories and chants. Children will be able to join in the fun onstage in stories like "Silverlocks and the 3 Monsters," "Pumpkin Hunt" and "The Magic Bubble" with real bubbles, of course. Tickets are $7. For older children, Saturday's 4 p.m. performance of "Ferdinand the Bull" will be followed by an on-stage parade for costumed audience members; tickets range from $10 to $21.
