County police reports
The following is a summary of incidents in the upcounty to which the Montgomery County Police responded recently. The words "arrested" and "charged" do not imply guilt.
5th District
Aggravated assault
-On Oct. 11 at 10:20 p.m., in the 13000 block of Mill House Court in Germantown. Domestic related. A 38-year-old man from Germantown was arrested the scene.
Strong-arm robbery
-On Oct. 9 between 1:20 and 1:37 a.m., in the 19500 block of Frederick Road in Germantown. A man was walking through the trailer park when four men approached and began to beat him with sticks. They obtained the victim's property and fled. One assailant is described as Hispanic, 30-35 years old, 5 feet 3 inches tall, 180 pounds.
Vehicle larceny
-13400 block of Daventry Way in Germantown, overnight between Oct. 6 and 7. Broke window; several car parts taken.
-18700 block of Sparkling Water Drive in Germantown, overnight between Oct. 6 and 7. Broke window; GPS, stereo taken.
Commercial burglary
-UpCounty Beer and Wine, 23229 Stringtown Road in Clarksburg, between 1:32 and 1:36 a.m. Oct. 11. Forced entry; property taken.
-Pizza 500, 23221 Stringtown Road in Clarksburg, between 1:32 and 1:35 a.m. Oct. 11. Forced entry; property taken. The burglar is described as a black man, 22-25 years old, 6 feet tall, weighing 180 pounds.
-EE Autobody Connections, 13210 Wisteria Drive in Germantown, between 7:25 and 7:33 a.m. Oct. 9. Officers responded for an alarm call and found forced entry; property taken.
Residential burglary
-11400 block of Locustdale Terrace in Germantown, at 5:55 p.m. Oct. 7. No forced entry; nothing taken. A 20-year-old man from Germantown was arrested.
-11400 block of Scenery Place in Germantown, at 9:50 a.m. Oct. 8. No forced entry; nothing taken. Domestic related. A 36-year-old male from Rockville was arrested.
-9800 block of Bethesda Church Road in Damascus, at 1:01 a.m. Oct. 9. Forced entry; property taken.
-18700 block of Caledonia Court in Germantown, between noon and 9:45 p.m. Oct. 7. Entry gained; property taken.
