Frederick man killed in ATV crash near Urbana
Police say injuries from the crash were the likely cause of death
A Frederick resident was killed in an ATV crash Sunday night at the intersection of Thurston Road and Peter Road near Urbana.
Ronald Lee DeGrange, 44, was traveling north on Thurston Road when he left the road and struck a tree, according to a preliminary investigation by the Frederick County Sheriff's Office. Deputies arrived on the scene at about 6:18 p.m., and DeGrange was transported to Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was pronounced dead at the hospital, and the likely cause of death was injuries sustained in the crash, according to the sheriff's office.
The investigation is ongoing.
