Center City

Sept. 17

3:22 a.m., DUI/DWI arrest. Kenilworth Avenue at Pontiac Street. Alexander Herbert Fischer, 22, of the 100 block of Ridge Road, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while impaired by alcohol, among other violations after a traffic stop. The suspect was released on citations pending trial.

8:57 p.m., Disorderly conduct. 6400 block of Capitol Drive. Jason Edward Mincey, 34, of the 8600 block of Ritchboro Road in Forestville, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. The suspect was released on citation pending trial.

Sept. 16

12:27 p.m., Trespassing. 8900 block of Edmonston Road. Ayowole Gabriel Ijelu, 25, of the 9110 block of Bobwhite Circle in Gaithersburg, was arrested and charged with trespassing on posted property. The suspect was released on citation pending trial.

Sept. 17

8:09 a.m., Vandalism. 9000 block of Breezewood Terrace. A rock was thrown through a window.

1:15 p.m., Trespassing. 9200 block of Springhill Lane. Robert Lewis Sheffield, 19, of the 2600 block of Sixth Street, N.E. in Washington, D.C., was arrested and charged with trespassing on private property. The suspect was released to the Department of Corrections for a hearing before a District Court Commissioner.

Burglaries

Sept. 17

8:53 a.m., Attempt burglary. 6200 block of Breezewood Drive.

Sept. 20

3:51 p.m., Burglary. 6200 block of Springhill Court. Televisions, a camera, game consoles, computers and jewelry were among the items taken.

4:42 p.m., Burglary. 5800 block of Cherrywood Terrace. Televisions, a camera, an iPod, a game console and jewelry were taken.

Robberies

Sept. 18

4:04 p.m., Robbery. 6000 block of Springhill Drive. The victim was approached by two suspects, who displayed a handgun and demanded money. The suspects were apprehended a short time later. A non-resident juvenile was petitioned for armed robbery, robbery and first degree assault. The juvenile was released to the Department of Juvenile Services. The second suspect, Lamont Leaks, 20, of the 900 block of New Jersey Avenue, N.W. in Washington, D.C., was arrested and charged with armed robbery, robbery and first degree assault. The second suspect was released to the Department of Corrections for a hearing before a District Court Commissioner.

Greenbelt East

Sept. 19

2:43 a.m., DUI/DWI arrest. 7200 block of Hanover Drive. Nicholas Lee Ruffing, 28, of the 5600 block of Jason Street in Hyattsville was arrested and charged with driving while impaired by drugs, among other violations after a traffic stop. The suspect was released on citations pending trial.

2:45 a.m., DUI/DWI arrest. 6900 block of Hanover Drive. Jose Fajardo Osorio, 25, of the 8000 block of Tiffany Lane in Lanham was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while impaired by alcohol, among other violations after a traffic stop. The suspect was released on citations pending trial.

Sept. 21

11 p.m., DUI/DWI arrest. Mandan Road at Greenbelt Road. Edwin Ramon Escobar, 23, of the 5000 block of 70th Avenue in Hyattsville, was arrested and charged with driving while impaired by a controlled dangerous substance, among other violations after a traffic stop. The suspect was released on citations pending trial.

Sept. 22

6:05 p.m., Trespassing. 7800 block of Hanover Parkway. Brandon Christopher Fluellyn, 19, of the 7800 block of Mandan Road was arrested and charged with trespassing on private property. The suspect was released on citation pending trial.

Sept. 21

7:56 p.m., Attempt burglary. 7800 block of Hanover Parkway.

Sept. 15

Vandalism. 6100 block of Breezewood Drive. A car was damaged during a dispute.

Sept. 17

Stolen vehicle. 6200 block of Springhill Drive. A gray 1993 Buick Regal with Maryland tags was taken.

Theft from auto. 7800 block of Hanover Parkway. A stereo system was taken.

Sept. 18

Theft from auto. 6000 block of Springhill Drive. A Maryland temporary tag was taken.

Recovered stolen vehicle. 7700 block of Ora Court. A green 1996 Plymouth Voyager van with Maryland tags, reported stolen through the Prince George's County Police Department, was recovered. No arrests were made.

Recovered stolen vehicle. 6000 block of Springhill Drive. A 2000 Ford Expedition with Maryland tags, reported stolen through Bladensburg Police, was recovered. No arrests were made.

Sept. 19

Theft from auto. 5800 block of Cherrywood Lane. A stereo system and car seat were taken.

Vandalism. 400 block of Ridge Road. A car window was broken.

Sept. 20

Recovered stolen vehicle. 6100 block of Breezewood Drive. A gray 2002 Hyundai Sonata with Maryland tags was recovered in the 3600 block of Laurel Fort Meade Road. No arrests were made.

Theft from auto. 6000 block of Springhill Drive. A car mirror was taken.

Theft from auto. 7900 block of Mandan Road. A laptop, cameras and textbooks were taken.

Theft from auto. 6200 block of Springhill Court. A stereo was taken.

Sept. 23

Theft from auto. 6400 block of Ivy Lane. Tires and rims were taken.

Theft from auto. 7700 block of Hanover Parkway. A GPS unit was taken.
