The following is a summary of incidents in the upcounty to which the Montgomery County Police responded recently. The words "arrested" and "charged" do not imply guilt.

Aggravated assault

- On Sept. 8 at 9:30 a.m. in the 20100 block of Club Hill Drive in Germantown. Domestic-related. The 53-year-old female suspect from Germantown was arrested at the scene.

Strong-arm robbery

- On Sept. 12 at 10:40 p.m. in the 11500 block of Aldburg Way in Germantown. The victim was exiting his vehicle when he was surrounded by several males who began to beat him in the face and upper body. The suspects were able to flee with the victim's property. Investigation led to the arrest of two 19- and 20-year-old suspects from Germantown.

- On Sept. 14 at 7:30 p.m. at Germantown Road and Wisteria Drive in Germantown. The adult female victim was robbed of her purse by a known suspect. The suspect was described as a white male, 30-35, unknown address.

- On Sept. 14 at 9:45 p.m. at Great Seneca Highway and Clopper Road in Germantown. The victim received a telephone call from Suspect No. 1, his ex-girlfriend, asking for a ride. When the victim arrived, he was assaulted and robbed of his property by several suspects.

Vehicle larceny

- Lake Park Court in Germantown, between 12:30 a.m. and 8 a.m. Sept. 8. Vehicle left unlocked, CDs taken.

- 20000 block of Lake Park Drive in Germantown, between 12:30 a.m. and 8 a.m. Sept. 8. Vehicle left unlocked, cologne, briefcase, iPod taken.

Residential burglary

- 11100 block of Sceptre Ridge Terrace in Germantown, between 2:55 a.m. and 3 a.m. Sept. 15. The victim observed the suspect enter his home and try to steal a purse. Responding officers were able to stop and arrest the fleeing suspect. An 18-year-old male from Germantown was arrested.

- 19800 Century Boulevard in Germantown, between 12:30 p.m. and 2:10 p.m. Sept. 13. Forced entry, property taken.

- 19000 block of Laurel Grove Terrace in Germantown, between noon and 5:30 p.m. Sept. 15. Unknown entry, property taken.

- 14300 block of Brass Wheel Road in Boyds, between 10 p.m. Sept. 9 and 5:45 a.m. Sept. 10. Unknown entry, property taken. A 1997 Silver Honda Civic was also stolen.

- 19000 block of Grotto Lane in Germantown, at 11:20 p.m. Sept. 10. Involved a known suspect who was arrested nearby. A 22-year-old male from Germantown was arrested.

- 18200 block of Chalet Drive in Germantown, between 9 a.m. Sept. 12 and 7:30 a.m. Sept. 13. Forced entry, property taken.

- Seneca Club Apartments in the 18000 block of Cottage Garden Way in Germantown, between midnight Sept. 10 and 8:20 a.m. Sept. 14. No forced entry, property taken.

- 13000 block of Thyme Court in Germantown, Sept. 15. Forced entry, property taken.

- 13200 block of Bayberry Drive in Germantown, Sept. 15. Forced entry, property taken.

- 13300 block of Copper Ridge Road in Germantown, Sept. 15. Forced entry, property taken.

- 15600 block of Hughes Road in Poolesville, between 8 a.m. Sept. 8 and 6 p.m. Sept. 9. No forced entry garage, property taken.
