Prep soccer: Queen Anne girls come back to beat Montrose Christian
Late goal lifts Lions to 3-2 victory
After failing to convert a penalty kick during the second half, Taylor Deloach scored on a free kick with a few minutes to play to break a 2-2 tie, as the Lions improved to 5-0-1.
Danielle Flynn scored in the second half on an assist from Amanda Hurlbutt to even the score at 1-1. Montrose Christian then scored to take a 2-1 lead. Shortly after Taylor Deloach's unsuccessful penalty kick, her sister Jordan Deloach scored to make it a 2-2 game with 11 minutes left to play. Goalkeeper Ashley Brown made four saves in the second half for Queen Anne.
The Lions are back in action at 4:15 p.m. Monday against Indian Creek.
