Man killed in Temple Hills

The Prince George’s County police department is investigating a Temple Hills homicide that occurred on Sept. 14. Police said officers responded to the 1200 block of Boones Hill Road for the report of a shooting at about 10:45 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found the victim, 33-year-old Jerome Anthony Proctor of the 1200 block of Benning Road, shot several times. He was pronounced dead on the scene and transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore for an autopsy, police said. There are no detailed descriptions of the suspects, and police said the investigation is continuing.
