Latest accomplishment: "We were recently recognized with 12 Capital Region Emmy Award nominations in a variety of categories, tying an all-time high for the network, which is a great honor for our network and staff. I am also very proud of the growth of our websites, CSNwashington.com and CSNbaltimore.com, in terms of the amount and quality of content, as well as its growing popularity in the market. The Internet is a very crowded medium, so the growth we continually enjoy is a testimony to the quality and hard work of our staff and the strength of our brand in the market."
How she keeps fresh ideas coming: "Although my very long daily commute from Woodstock to Bethesda is certainly difficult in many ways, it also gives me a great opportunity to focus on my thoughts and come up with original and innovative ideas. I also find it very important to tap into the knowledge and instincts of our staff, they are a very talented and creative group of people and I consider them my greatest resource."
Quote: "Benjamin Franklin said, An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.' That is something I believe in. Working in a very competitive and increasingly fragmented business with constant advances in technology, it is critical to be fully engaged and educated on all aspects of the industry. In television and digital media, like many other businesses, if you lose one step, you may end up miles behind. My priority is to be an innovative and forward-thinking network in order to better serve our viewers, sponsors and team partners."
