Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic of Bethesda named Julie Donaldson an anchor and reporter for SportsNite. It also named Jill Sorenson its Capitals television beat reporter, succeeding Lisa Hillary, who will be Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia's Flyers television reporter. Previously, Donaldson was a sports anchor and reporter for WHDH-TV in Boston and SportsNet New York, and also worked for Fox Sports in Miami. Sorenson was an anchor and reporter for Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic for five years. Earlier, she was the Capitals reporter for the Comcast network and also worked for WRC-TV and WTTG-TV, both in Washington, D.C., and WDIO-TV in Duluth, Minn.
Prince George's
ASRC Research and Technology Solutions of Greenbelt named Scott Altman vice president of strategic planning. Previously, Altman was a Navy captain and NASA astronaut. Most recently, he was chief of the exploration branch in the Astronaut Office at NASA's Johnson Space Center.

The Community Foundation of Harford County elected the following board officers: Donn Dietrich, president; Gregory Szoka, vice president; Jayne Klein, secretary; and Ed Kouneski, treasurer. Dietrich is general manager and COO of Maryland Golf and Country Clubs in Bel Air. Szoka is a principal with Stark and Keenan in Bel Air. Klein is a registered dietitian with a private practice in Bel Air. Kouneski is CFO of Manekin of Columbia.
Carton Donofrio Partners of Baltimore promoted Ellen Moore from COO to CEO, succeeding Chuck Donofrio, who remains chairman. Before joining the firm 10 years ago, Moore was COO at WL Gore & Associates and president of Alanby's Outfitting-Outdoors.
