Thefts
July 12
200 block of Fort Meade Road. Sixteen rolls of Romex 12-2 wire stolen by a black male who fled in a two tone gray Mercedes. Police have identified the suspect and warrants are being obtained for felony theft.
July 14
14000 block of Vista Drive. Four cameras stolen while the victim was loading packages from her home to her vehicle.
July 17
800 block of Fourth Street. Cricket cell phone stolen from a parked car.
July 19
14100 block of Baltimore Avenue. Garmin GPS device stolen from a parked truck.
July 20
400 block of Greenhill Avenue. Four foot level stolen from a parked truck.
July 21
8200 block of Harvest Bend Lane. Pioneer Stereo CD/DVD player stolen from a parked car.
July 23
Unit block of Main Street. Two bicycles stolen from the Marc Train station parking lot. Both bicycles were located at the Superpawn Pawn Shop in Howard County.
July 25
14200 block of Laurel Park Drive. Six vehicles broken into and items stolen includes CDs and credit cards.
July 26
100 block of Bowie Road. Two Samsung cell phones and two Motorola Bluetooth headsets stolen from Office Depot by a male who fled the store with the items.
400 block of Washington Boulevard. Hand and power tools stolen from two parked vehicles.
July 27
300 block of Thomas Drive. Seventy six CDs and a key stolen from a parked car.
14600 block of Laurel Bowie Road. Victim standing at a bus stop when a brown SUV Ford Expedition drove next to her and grabbed her purse then fled the area.
800 block of Eighth Street. DeWalt drill and a Milwaukee Sawzall stolen from an apartment maintenance area.

100 block of Second Street. Used tires stolen from a storage area at a tire dealer.
600 block of Washington Boulevard. Copier and a vacuum cleaner stolen from a closet.

Unit block of Avondale Street. Black 1991 Acura Legend with Maryland tags7MD8691. Laurel police officers recovered the car at the intersection of 5th Street and Route 198 West.
July 27
Unit block of Main Street. Silver 2007 Mitsubishi Gallant with Maryland tags JBB895. The car was leased to a person in March and never returned.
July 30
14700 block of Fourth Street. Orange and black 2010 Kawasaki motorcycle with Maryland tags ID7613.
July 31
400 block of Armstrong Court. Red 2008 Honda CBR1000 motorcycle with Georgia tags CYOZC1.
14700 block of Fourth Street. Gray 2007 Yamaha R6 motorcycle with Texas tag 3HV568.
Aug. 2
15000 block of Baltimore Avenue. Blue 2005 Cadillac Escalade with Maryland tags 790M245. The vehicle was recovered by Laurel police officers at the intersection of Huntington and Shiloh Court in Laurel.
Aug. 4
100 block of Bryan Court. Blue 2006 Suzuki motorcycle with Maryland tag D35222. Laurel police were able to track it to an area in the county and had Prince George's County police recover the motorcycle.

8200 block of Harvest Bend Lane. Black 2009 Yamaha motorcycle with Maryland tag 9D3768.

Burglaries
July 24
Unit block of Morton Place. Entry gained through an unlocked door. Two Emerson DVD players and a cell phone were taken.
800 block of Eighth Street. Entry gained through a window. An Acer laptop computer, Sony PlayStation 3 game system and a blanket were taken.
July 25
7400 block of Van Dusen Road. Entry gained through a glass door. Nothing was reported taken.
July 27
300 block of Montrose Avenue. Entry gained through the front door. Nothing was reported taken.
July 30
7200 block of Exbury Court. Entry gained through a window. Nothing was reported taken.
Aug. 2
15100 block of Baltimore Avenue. Entry gained through a window. A cash register was taken.
Aug. 3
14700 block of Baltimore Avenue. Entry gained into a storage yard by cutting the lock off a fence. A white 2003 Ford E350 truck with blue lettering on each side was taken. Inside the truck were numerous lawn and landscaping equipment. The truck was recovered by county police the next day in Oxon Hill.

7400 block of Breckenridge Street. Entry attempted through a door. Entry not gained and nothing was reported taken.
Aug. 5
800 block of Eighth Street. Entry gained through a window. Nothing was reported taken.
7500 block of Cavan Court. Entry gained through a basement door. A Beretta PX4 Storm handgun was taken.
Aug. 7
200 block of Tenth Street. Entry gained through rear door. Nothing was reported taken.
Aug. 12
7600 block of South Arbory Lane. Entry gained through a basement door. Furniture, Toshiba 46-inch television, WII Nintendo game system, HP 12-inch computer monitor and pictures with frames were taken.
Robberies
July 30
9100 block of Elaine Court. A Laurel man reported to police that he was sitting on sidewalk steps when he was approached from behind by two males. The two males placed a long barreled shotgun or rifle to his head and demanded money. The victim had no money but the two suspects took his cell phone. The suspects fled the area in an unknown direction. No one was injured.
