Burglaries

July 20

5:20 p.m., Burglary. 100 block of Westway Road. Someone gained entry by smashing a bedroom window. Nothing was taken.

Empirian Village/Beltway Plaza/Greenbelt Metro/Capitol Office Park

July 13

6 p.m., Trespass arrest. 6000 block of Greenbelt Road. Mohamed Lamin Fofanah, Jr., 19, of the 2000 block of Pin Oak Parkway in Bowie, was arrested and charged with trespassing. The suspect was released on citation, pending trial.

July 19

3:47 p.m., Trespass arrest. 9100 block of Springhill Lane. Jody Devon Wright, 19, of the 7700 block of Independence Street in Seat Pleasant, was arrested and charged with trespass. The suspect was released to the Department of Corrections for a hearing before a District Court Commissioner.

July 21

12:18 a.m., DUI/DWI arrest. Okera Camara Bryson, 31, of the 3600 block of Cousins Drive in Glenarden, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while impaired by alcohol after a traffic stop. The suspect was released on citations, pending trial.

Burglaries

July 17

6:53 p.m., Burglary. 5900 block of Cherrywood Terrace. Entry was made through an unlocked patio door. A flat screen, PlayStation 2, stereo and glass table were taken.

Robberies

July 20

12:34 a.m., Armed robbery. 9000 block of Edmonston Terrace. The victim advised he was approached by two male suspects when walking home. Suspect one was armed with a handgun. Suspect two demanded money. The victim handed the suspects his wallet, and the suspects then fled the area. Suspect one was described as a black male, 19 to 20, 6'1", thin build, medium complexion, last seen wearing a dark shirt and jeans with a light colored cap. Suspect two was described as a black male, 19 to 20, 5'10", thin build, dark complexion, close cut hair, well spoken/articulate, last seen wearing a dark polo shirt and jeans.

Greenbelt East

July 15

12:22 p.m., DUI/DWI arrest. 7500 block of Greenbelt Road. Michelle Burns-Gibson, 45, of the 5300 block of 85th Avenue in New Carrollton, was arrested and charged on citation with reckless driving, failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk, driving under the influence on drugs and alcohol and issued a criminal citation for possession of CDS paraphernalia after a traffic stop. The suspect was released on citations, pending trial.

July 17

2:34 a.m., DUI/DWI arrest. Erica Shareene Ali, 22, of the 8224 block of Brushyridge Road in Laurel, was arrested and charged with driving under the Influence of alcohol, driving while impaired by alcohol and failing to stop at a red light. The suspect was released on citations, pending trial.

July 18

4:07 a.m., DUI/DWI arrest. James Chau-Chyun Liu, 22, of the 9300 block of Cherry Hill Road in College Park, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while impaired by alcohol and negligent driving. The suspect was released on citations, pending trial.

July 19

1:03 a.m., DUI/DWI arrest. Anton Durrell Wyatt, 20, of the 6800 block of Riverdale Road in Lanham, was arrested and charged with driving on a suspended license among other traffic charges, after a traffic stop. The suspect was released on citations, pending trial.

Drug violations/arrests

July 21

3:25 p.m., Drug paraphernalia arrest. Mandan Road and Greenbelt Road. Marcell Neao Tolbert, 24, of the 8500 block of Greenbelt Road, was arrested and charged on a criminal citation with possession of CDS paraphernalia. The suspect was released to the Department of Corrections for an open warrant through Prince George's County Sheriff's Department for second degree assault.

Burglaries

July 16

9:36 p.m., Attempt burglary. 7000 block of Megan Lane. Entry was not gained.

July 16

Theft from auto. 7000 block of Megan Lane. Four tires and rims were taken.

Stolen auto and theft from auto. 6500 block of Spring Crest Drive. A red 1999 Dodge Caravan was reported stolen with Maryland registration M365919. A Nissan Murano was broken into and the keys to the Dodge Caravan were taken along with some money and a cell phone.

July 17

Recovered/stolen vehicle. 6900 block of Hanover Parkway. A 2007 Honda Accord reported stolen from Riverdale was recovered. No arrests were made.

Theft from auto. 6700 block of Springshire Way. Registration card and CDs were taken.

July 18

Recovered/stolen tag. 201N at Route I95. A 17-year-old Hyattsville youth was arrested and charged on a juvenile petition with theft under $100, operating an unregistered vehicle, operating uninsured vehicle and unauthorized use of registration plate.

July 19

Theft from auto. 5 Court of Ridge Road. Laptop carrying case was taken.

Attempt theft from auto. 7800 block of Mandan Road.

Vandalism. 17 Court of Ridge Road. Driver's side window was broken.

Stolen vehicle. A silver 2004 Ford Freestar with Maryland tags 08423M8.

July 20

Theft from auto. 6400 Ivy Lane. Four stock Cadillac Escalade 17" rims and tires.

Theft from auto. 7900 block of Mandan Road. Tools were taken.

Theft from auto. 7000 block of Matthew Street. Wallet and cell phone were taken.

Theft of auto. 5900 block of Springhill Drive. A red 2003 Dodge Intrepid with Maryland tags XRZ6902.

July 21

Recovered/stolen vehicle. A 1995 Toyota Avalon reported stolen through Prince George's County was located in the 9200 block of Edmonston Road. No arrests.

Vandalism. 6900 block of Hanover Parkway. Vehicle was scratched.

Vandalism. 7200 block of Mandan Road. Black spray paint used.

Vandalism. 7200 block of Mandan Road. Broken vehicle windows.

Vandalism. 6100 block of Breezewood Court. Tires slashed.

Theft from auto. 6100 block of Breezewood Drive. Radio was taken.

Theft from auto. 6300 block of Ivy Lane. Keys and wallet were taken.

Theft from auto. 100 block of Ridge Road. Tools were taken.
