The Maryland Stars Baseball Club is holding tryouts for ages 9 to 14 and is seeking coaches available to start this fall. The club prefers coaches with college-level playing experience or higher. Tryouts for the U-14 team will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Aug. 21 at Frederick Douglass High School in Upper Marlboro. Tryouts for the U-13 team will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Aug. 28 and 29 at Gwynn Park High School in Brandywine.
