Rockville city police reports
The following is a summary of incidents to which Rockville City Police responded during the past few weeks. The words "arrested" and "charged" do not imply guilt.
Theft Arrests
-June 29, 1:35 p.m., Russell Daniel Pierce, 50, of Rockville was arrested for alleged shoplifting following a complaint in the unit block of Maryland Avenue.
Other arrests
-June 30, 6 p.m., Vanderbilt Nolton, 43, of Silver Spring was arrested for alleged trespassing following a complaint in the 1700 block of Rockville Pike. It was learned that Nolton had an open warrant from Prince George's County Police Department.
Thefts
-Between June 27 and 28, 800 block of Duke Street, unknown person(s) removed money, a GPS and two bags from an unlocked vehicle.
-Between June 27 and 28, 1600 block of Marshall Avenue, unknown person(s) removed a pouch, a wallet, money and a key from an unlocked vehicle.
-Between June 27 and 28, 200 block of Cedar Lane, unknown person(s) removed a GPS and money from an unlocked vehicle.
-Between June 28 and 29, 200 block of Bradley Avenue, unknown person(s) removed a water bottle, purse containing a driver's license, money and two credit cards from a vehicle.
-Between June 28 and 29, 2000 block of Gainsboro Road, unknown person(s) removed a GPS and money from a vehicle.
-June 29, between 10 and 11:10 a.m., 1100 block of Regal Oak Drive, unknown person(s) removed a set of golf clubs, golf bag, golf gloves, golf balls, and a windbreaker that was left outside a residence.
-June 29, between 8:30 and 9 p.m., 12900 block of Twinbrook Parkway, unknown person(s) removed a cell phone that was left unattended at a playground.
-Between June 29 and 30, unit block of Vashi Lane, unknown person(s) removed an iPod and money from an unlocked vehicle.
-June 30, between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., 600 block of Burgundy Drive, unknown person(s) removed a television, a nail gun, a video game console, jewelry and a laptop from a front yard of a residence while the residents were moving.
-June 30, between 2 and 2:10 p.m., 200 block of Meadow Hall Drive, unknown person(s) removed a cell phone from an unattended desk at a library.
Burglaries
-June 25, between 7 and 10 p.m., 800 block of Reading Avenue, unknown person(s) gained access through an unlocked rear door of a residence and removed a video game console, a laptop, three video game controllers and 19 video games.
