Knott, Rogers
John and Barbara Knott of Thurmont are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Rebecca Lynn Knott, to Brian Charles Rogers, son of Carol Rogers of Homer, N.Y.
The bride-to-be is a 1990 graduate of Catoctin High School. She volunteers as a K-9 handler with Thurmont K-9 Search and Rescue. She is also a firefighter and EMT.
The prospective groom graduated in 1982 from Homer High School in Homer, N.Y. He attended the Ohio Institute of Technology and is employed with URS Corporation. He is currently working in Iraq.
A Sept. 5, 2009 wedding is planned.
