Willis Walker
Willis (Sis) Walker, 73, of Rockville, formerly of Potomac, died of multiple sclerosis on June 27, 2009 in Suburban Hospital, Bethesda.
Born Feb. 15, 1936 in Evansville, Ind., she was the daughter of the late Edward M. Butler Jr. and Louise Dyer Butler.
She was the wife of Milford (Din) Walker Jr. for 49 years.
Mrs. Walker attended Summit High School in Summit, N.J., Centenary College and Columbia University School of Nursing.
Survivors in addition to her husband include three children, Milford (Doc) Walker III and wife, Debbie of West Palm Beach, Fla., Cynthia Hann and husband, Terry of Potomac and William E. Walker of Sterling, Va.; one brother, William Butler and wife, Grace of Fanwood, N.J.; one sister-in-law, Sharon Butler of Casselberry, Fla.; and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Edward M. Butler of Casselberry, Fla.
Funeral services will be on July 8 at 11 a.m. at Fourth Presbyterian Church, 550 River Road, Bethesda.
