DEALS

M&T Bank of Buffalo, N.Y., opened a full-service branch office at Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport.

Access Intelligence LLC of Rockville, an integrated media company, acquired TradeFair Group of Houston, owned by partners Sean Guerre and David I. Johnson. The deal will expand Access Intelligence’s energy portfolio, according to a company statement. Access Intelligence is a portfolio company of private equity firm Veronis Suhler Stevenson.

Group 1 Software Inc. of Lanham was selected by eScholar LLC of White Plains, N.Y., to continue providing its data integration system.

American Capital Strategies Ltd. of Bethesda and an affiliate invested $125 million in Velocity Financial Group Inc. of Chicago, a new specialty finance company that will provide equipment financing and working capital to middle-market and venture-backed companies. American Capital also invested $38 million in Camp Systems International Inc. of Islip, N.Y., which provides subscription-based maintenance tracking information services to the corporate aviation market.

Fidelity & Trust Bank of Bethesda opened its first branch in Virginia, in Tysons Corner.
