Victim identified after body found in flaming vehicle in Temple Hills
Police investigating case as a homicide

Police are investigating the Thursday night discovery of a body found inside a flaming vehicle in Temple Hills as a homicide, a police official said.
A passer-by reported a vehicle on fire in the 2100 block of Catskill Street at approximately 10:10 p.m., said officer Evan Baxter, a spokesman for the Prince George's County Police Department.
The victim has been identified as William Sylvester Epps, 55, of the 4700 block of Maui Street in Clinton. Epps suffered sustained trauma to his upper body and was pronounced dead on the scene, police said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
