The following is a summary of incidents in the upcounty to which the Montgomery County Police responded recently. The words "arrested" and "charged" do not imply guilt.

Aggravated assault

- On May 8 at 10:20 p.m., in the 19500 block of Frederick Road in Germantown. The suspect and victim were arguing when the suspect stabbed the victim in the neck. The suspect then fled.

Strong-arm robbery

- On May 6 at 6 p.m., at Greenridge Baptist Church, 21925 Frederick Road in Germantown. The victim, a juvenile male, had gotten off a Ride On bus when several male suspects approached. The eight male suspects began to hit the victim in the head and took personal property. The suspects fled on foot.

Vehicle larceny

- 21300 block of China Aster Court in Clarksburg, overnight between May 4 and May 5. Vehicle left unlocked, sunglasses taken.

- 23000 block of Winged Elm Drive in Clarksburg, overnight between May 4 and May 5. Vehicle left unlocked, iPod, Playstation and games taken.

- Pickering Court in Germantown, overnight between May 4 and May 5. Vehicle left unlocked, iPod, CDs, GPS mount taken.

- Pickering Court in Germantown, overnight between May 4 and May 5. Broke window, nothing taken.

- 13100 block of Twilight Court in Germantown, overnight between May 4 and May 5. Broke window, GPS taken.

- 22600 block of Frederick Road in Clarksburg, between 6:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on May 5. Forced entry, property taken.

- 11200 block of Dunstable Way in Germantown, between 2 p.m. on May 7 and 6 p.m. on May 10. No signs of forced entry, property taken.

- 19300 block of Hottinger Circle in Germantown, between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. on May 9. No signs for forced entry, property taken.
