Previously, for more than a decade she headed global business development for international accounting and consulting firm KPMG in New York City, Washington and Amsterdam.
Hobby: Golf. Fordwich has appeared regularly as a business and golf expert on News Channel 8's "Capital Golf Weekly" and as a regular commentator of "Hilary's On Course." She also lectures and helped design the curriculum for the University of Maryland's Golf for Business and Life program, a new PGA-sponsored three-credit course offered to graduate business students.

How she keeps fresh ideas coming: "I listen to books on tape in the car, as I am always driving between clients and events. After checking and responding to voice mail and briefly listening to the news, it's amazing how much one can learn from fitting in books on the go."
