Rockville company wins OPM contractCenter for Organizational Excellence to provide human resource consultingThe Center for Organizational Excellence, a Rockville management consulting firm, has won a five-year contract from the U.S. Office of Personnel Management for human resource consulting services. The award ‘‘reaffirms our commitment to helping federal agencies achieve organizational effectiveness and mission readiness,” Steve Goodrich, president of COE, said in a statement. The company has worked with mostly federal government clients for more than two decades. Services include human capital planning, performance management, leadership coaching, strategic planning and information technology systems planning. Last year, COE launched an automated performance management tool called GoalOwner to help federal agencies automate and simplify the performance review process. COE clients have included the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the CIA, the Department of Commerce, the Department of Energy, National Park Service, Food and Drug Administration, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, National Weather Service and Social Security Administration.
