Police have arrested and charged Cindi Rush, 20, of Baltimore in connection with the homicide of a Waldorf restaurant owner. According to police, Rush allegedly conspired to rob and kill Patricia Caniglia, 54, of Fort Washington. Rush was charged with murder in the first degree.

On April 19, Caniglia was shot in her Fort Washington home. According to court records, a witness saw a young woman matching Rush’s description as one of the two people slouched down in a car at the time of Caniglia’s shooting.

Court records also show that Rush was once an employee of Mama Mia’s Pizza, the Waldorf restaurant the Caniglia’s owned, and had a relationship with Caniglia’s son, Antonio. Police said they are also pursuing another suspect.
