2:06 a.m., DUI/DWI arrest. Route 201 at Cherrywood Lane. Favio Alexander Aragon, 29, of the 14000 block of Woodwell Terrace in Silver Spring was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, among other related charges, after a traffic stop. The suspect was released on citations pending trial.

3:54 p.m., Disorderly conduct arrests. 9100 block of Springhill Drive. Two Greenbelt juveniles, ages 13 and 14, were arrested for causing a large crowd and engaging in a fight with a third subject. Both suspects were charged on a juvenile petition with disorderly conduct and released to parents/guardians.
7:04 p.m., Trespass arrests. 5800 block of Cherrywood Terrace. Two non-resident juveniles, ages 15 and 16, who had previously been banned from Empirian Village, were arrested for trespassing. Both suspects were charged on juvenile petitions and released to parents/guardians.

Robberies
April 17
6:24 p.m., Strong-arm robbery. 9100 block of Springhill Lane. The victim advised that while doing repair work on his vehicle, a 1990 tan Cadillac, dark-tinted windows and white-wall tires pulled into the parking lot and three suspects got out of the vehicle and approached him. A fourth suspect stayed in the vehicle. Suspect one demanded the victim's money, while a second suspect had a metal pole in his hands. The victim handed over his money and the four suspects left in the Cadillac. The three suspects that got out of the vehicle were described as black males, in their 20's. One suspect was about 5'11", 170 lbs., last seen wearing a green baseball hat, white T-shirt and blue jeans; second suspect was about 5'10", 170 lbs., last seen wearing a black jacket, long hair and a tattoo below the right eye area; no further descriptions.
April 18
4:21 p.m., Attempt strong-arm robbery. 6100 block of Greenbelt Road. The victim advised she was approached by two female suspects who asked to use her phone. One of the suspects attempted to forcibly take the cell phone by striking the victim repeatedly, but the victim resisted, at which point the suspects fled on foot. The suspects were described as two black females, ages 16 to 18, about 5'5 and 5'7," thin builds: one suspect last seen wearing a black jacket, and blue jeans with long braids in her hair; no further on the second suspect.
April 19
4:33 p.m., Attempt strong-arm robbery. 9200 block of Springhill Lane. The victim advised he was approached by a male suspect who demanded his money. The victim refused and the suspect fled. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male youth, age 15 – 16, last seen wearing a red Lakers short sleeve jersey and blue jeans.

1:30 p.m., Disruption of school activities arrest. 7601 Hanover Parkway. A 17-year-old Greenbelt youth was arrested and charged with disruption of school activities. The subject was released to a parent pending action by the Department of Juvenile Services.

2:02 a.m., DUI/DWI arrest. Chrisford Marvin Dakin-Davis, 41, of the 500 block of Lilac Terrace in Virginia was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding and other traffic charges, after a traffic stop. The suspect was released on citations pending trial.
2:39 a.m., DUI/DWI arrest. Frankfurt Drive. Jose Guadaupe Morales Luevano, 21, of the 8300 block of Cathedral Avenue in New Carrollton was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while impaired, after he was involved in a single vehicle accident. The suspect was released on citations pending trial.

April 18
4:42 a.m., Armed robbery. 8100 block of Mandan Terrace. The victim advised he was approached by three suspects in the parking lot. One of the suspects pointed a handgun at the victim, while the two remaining suspects knocked him to the ground and stole his wallet and car keys. The suspects then fled the area in a dark blue or black minivan. The suspects are described as black males; one wearing light-colored clothing, no further description.

Robberies
April 19
14300 block of Bowsprit Lane. A Verizon repairman while checking telephone lines behind an apartment building was approached by two males who displayed handguns. The victim handed over two cell phones and a small amount of money. After the victim realized the two suspects were displaying pellet guns he attempted to retrieve his property and the suspects fled on foot towards Oxford Drive. The victim was not injured. The suspects were described as follows: both black males, first suspect is 6'3", 170 lbs, 20-24 years of age, long hair in dreadlocks, goatee wearing dark clothing, armed with a silver pellet gun. Second suspect is 5'5-5'8", 160 lbs, 20-24 years of age, wearing dark clothing with western boots, armed with a black pellet gun.
April 20
14800 block of Baltimore Avenue. Police are investigating a robbery at EZ Wireless in the Laurel Mall. As an employee was making a sale, a man approached her from behind and pushed her from the counter. The suspect grabbed money from the cash register and fled on foot in an unknown direction. No one was injured. The suspect is described as follows: black male, 5'8", 160 lbs, 18-21 years of age wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black shirt, dark blue jeans also had short braided hair.
April 21
6900 block of Scotch Drive. Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred when a mother and son were exiting their car to carry groceries and a man displayed a handgun and grabbed the victim's purse and a carry bag. A second suspect entered the victim's car and started the vehicle. The suspect who displayed the gun entered the car and both suspects drove from the scene. Police found the car abandoned at the corner of Plaid and Scotch Drive. No one was injured. The suspect is described as follows: black male, dark skin, slim build, with dreadlocked hair, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and black pants, armed with a silver handgun. There is no description available for the second suspect.
