Occupation: Retired Computer Specialist — Voice of America — 35 years of service.
Reason for running: I was raised in North Brentwood, raised my children in North Brentwood. To ensure residents in North Brentwood obtain the quality of life they deserve.
Top three priorities: Stressing green projects, structured programs for our youth at the North Brentwood Community Center and involving the youth to learn more about municipal government.
Why should people vote for you? I have the experience. I was councilperson for 12 years, and clerk for 12 years. Was elected in 2007 for my first term as mayor of North Brentwood and have accomplished a great deal.
Other relevant activities: I have moved forward to assist in the anticipated opening of the new Gwendolyn Britt Senior Activity Center (with partnership with MNCPPC). The center will be located in the North Brentwood Municipal Center.
