Forest Heights to have special election for Ward 2
The town of Forest Heights is set to hold a special election May 19 to fill the Ward 2 seat vacated by new Mayor Andrea McCutcheon.
The Town Council voted to approve the election, after they failed to come to a consensus on the selection process during an April 15 council meeting. Town officials said it was best to let residents decide who should fill the seat after a vote on two candidates vying for the position was tied during the meeting.
