HMSHost of Bethesda partnered with Kilmer Van Nostrand Co. of Toronto to sign a 50-year agreement with the province of Ontario to build 23 service centers on Canadian highways.
Straughan Environmental Services of Columbia won a five-year contract worth up to $20 million from NASA to help the agency meet environmental regulatory requirements.
Dell Bowman and the Ravens Group of Lanham were selected by the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency to facilitate acquisitions training. Bowman also was selected by the Marine Corps to provide training and other services.
Impeva Labs of Mountain View, Calif., which provides radio frequency identification services and is in Chapter 11 bankruptcy, received financing from Arinc Engineering Services of Annapolis. Arinc has been approved as the stalking horse with its offer to acquire Impeva's intellectual property and other assets for $2 million in cash plus $818,923 in assumed liabilities. The auction is set for May 4.
