Comcast Spotlight of Bethesda, the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable, named Raj Bhansali director of research. Previously, Bhansali was senior account executive at Insight Express and also worked for Nielsen Media Research.
USEC Inc. of Bethesda promoted Peter B. Saba to senior vice president. Saba will continue as general counsel and secretary. Previously, he was of counsel in the global projects group at Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker and principal deputy assistant secretary in the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Domestic and International Energy Policy. USEC also named Paul Sullivan an officer and chief engineer. Sullivan, a retired Navy vice admiral, joined USEC in January as vice president for operations.
Discovery Communications of Silver Spring named Laura Michalchyshyn president and general manager of Planet Green. Previously, Michalchyshyn was executive vice president and general manager of the Sundance Channel, senior vice president of dramatic programming at Alliance Atlantis and program manager at WTN.
Rohini Anand, senior vice president and global chief diversity officer for Sodexo Inc. of Gaithersburg, won the 2009 Trailblazer Award from the Women's Foodservice Forum and the Maryland International Business Leadership Award from the World Trade Center Institute.

John P. "Jack" Hollerbach, founder, president and CEO of HarVest Bank of Maryland in Gaithersburg, won the Montgomery County Good Scout Award from the Boy Scouts of America.
Potomac Ridge Behavioral Health of Rockville added the following psychiatrists: Michelle G. Seelman, Madan Uprety and Gebrehana Zebro, plus Samantha Madhosingh as residential treatment center director and Laura Thorpe as program director. Seelman, working in the children's unit, is a former Navy flight surgeon and general medical officer. Uprety works in adult acute inpatient services; he was a staff psychiatrist at the Cumberland (Wis.) Memorial Hospital/North West Regional Center and also worked at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center. Zebro is a general medical internist in acute care services; he was section chief for consult-liaison and emergency psychiatry at Carillion Clinic Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine Services. Madhosingh was a clinical psychologist with the Washington, D.C., Department of Mental Health. Thorpe worked for Vesta, Stress and Health Management and Creative Mental Health Services, and was a psychiatric social worker at Crownsville Hospital Center.

Northrop Grumman of Linthicum promoted Michael E. Hinkey to vice president of engineering and manufacturing for the Eastern region campuses of its electronic systems sector. Previously, Hinkey, who joined the company in 1981, was director of multi-role electronically scanned array radar programs. The company also promoted Patrick M. Antkowiak to vice president of strategy and capability for its electronic systems sector's engineering, manufacturing and logistics organization. Antkowiak also joined the company in 1981; most recently, he was director of space systems in its advanced concepts and technologies division.
