Grove Resource lands $7M FBI contract
Grove Resource Solutions of Frederick recently won a $7 million contract from the FBI to help modernize the agency's headquarters, resident agent offices and field offices nationwide, according to a company statement.
The three-year contract calls for the company to provide support for locations across the country.
Frederick chamber seeks conference presenters
The Frederick County Chamber of Commerce is seeking presenters for its "Exploring New Markets" conference June 4 at the Frederick campus of Mount St. Mary's University.
The all-day conference will focus on helping businesses learn more about opportunities for growth regionally, culturally and in generational and niche markets, according to chamber information. Proposals are due April 16.

Bel Air company wins Fort Detrick contract
The Army Medical Research and Materiel Command at Fort Detrick chose Beacon Associates of Bel Air to provide professional, scientific and technical support services, officials said in a statement.
Mount Airy chamber offering scholarships
The Greater Mt. Airy Chamber of Commerce is offering scholarships to local students for up to $2,500 each.
"The scholarship is intended to recognize and assist students who share the vision and values of the chamber and show the potential of contributing to the greater Mount Airy area," chamber officials said in a statement.

Emmitsburg group to host speaker
The Emmitsburg Business & Professional Association will hold a luncheon at 11:30 a.m. April 21 at The Carriage House Inn, 200 S. Seton Ave., Emmitsburg.
