Most complete player in county, stuffed stat sheet every night for undefeated state-champion Panthers. Repeat first-team member dominated all year, averaging over 21 ppg, 7rpg, 5 apg, nearly 5 spg.
Coach of the Year

Paint Branch, 12th year
Dream season included surpassing 300 career high-school victories, guiding undefeated, 25-0 Panthers to division, regional, state championships, Podosek’s and school’s second state crown (2001).

University of Delaware signee guided young Bulldogs squad to ISL AA final, producing 21 ppg, 11 rpg from low-post position.
Erin Brown, Whitman, Sr., F
UMBC-bound forward averaged 18.8 ppg, 8.9 rgp to lead Vikings. Team was 50 games over .500 in her four-year career.

Montgomery County’s purest shooter made 485 3-pointers in four-year varsity career, scoring 2,071 points.

Versatile Virginia Tech signee compiled averages of 17.9 ppg, 9.1 rpg, 2.8 bpg, 2.5 spg, 2.2 apg, leading Falcons to WCAC final.

Committed to West Virginia-Wesleyan, finished career with 32 points, 19 rebounds vs. Paint Branch in 3A West Region title game.
Khalilah Quigley, Paint Branch, Jr., F
Second member of county’s premier one-two tandem, provided inside muscle for unbeaten Panthers with 19.8 ppg, 10.2 rpg.

Shut down some of area’s best offensive players while adding 11 ppg, 6 rpg, 4.5 spg and 2.5 apg in ultra-competitive WCAC.

Ignited Tartans offense with ability to create opportunities for herself (14 ppg), others (5 apg), while also pulling down 6 rpg.

All-around athlete did it all for 1A West finalists, leading team in scoring (18.4 ppg) for second straight year, adding 6 rpg, 2.4 spg.
