Let's hold all candidates to the same standards. As I read "Campaigns show bad track record," I began to wonder if all candidates are being treated equally — I say not.

[Rushern] Baker is following campaign law. [Letter writer Nancy] Bond is making accusations about Baker receiving money from the people of Prince George's County several years ago. I would ask if she could substantiate her claim. She makes references to Baker's financial track record as if she worked for him.

Facts are very important. Spending the county into debt is what the current county executive has done. Please, let's not forget about the county employees that were laid off and employees that are still being furloughed. All of this is due to the irresponsible spending under this current administration.

If we cannot attract businesses to do business in this county, what good is the AAA bond rating?
