Previously, Denson worked for Educational Testing Service, Boston University, State University of New York Empire State College and the Dalton School. Perez worked for Best Buy, Insignia, Apple Computer, KPMG Consulting and Discovery Communications.

Allen Haney, president of JZA Affinity, the nonprofit and association division of Riggs, Counselman, Michaels & Downes of Bethesda, was named the 2010 Association Vendor of the Year by Association Trends for his "commitment to advising the association community on insurance, risk management and benefit programs as well as member programs."
Coventry Health Care of Bethesda named Joseph R. Swedish a director. Swedish is president and CEO of Trinity Health. Previously, he was president and CEO of Centura Health and also worked for Hospital Corporation of America.

Sodexo of Gaithersburg named Patricia S. Bellinger to its North America Advisory Board. Bellinger is chairwoman of Nordic Windpower and previously worked for BP plc and Bristol-Myers Squibb.
