Man found dead Wednesday in Landover home
46-year-old had trauma to his body, police said
Prince George's County police are investigating the slaying of a man found dead in a Landover home Wednesday morning.
Officers were called to a home in the 1300 block of Eli Place around 4:40 a.m. to check on the welfare of an unconscious person. When they arrived, they found George Eugene Borden, 46, on the floor with trauma to his body. He was pronounced dead on the scene. Police would not specify the type of trauma.
Police said Borden had no fixed address; however, an open-container citation pending in Prince George's County District Court listed 1300 Eli Place as his home address.
No suspects have been arrested in the case, and investigators are asking anyone with information about the slaying to call the Prince George's County Police Department's Homicide Unit at 301-772-4925.
