Gaithersburg man found dead in his apartment parking lotA Gaithersburg man was found dead in the parking lot of his apartment complex Sunday night in what county police are investigating as a homicide. Aureliano Evelio Miranda-Fuentes, 42, of the 500 block of South Frederick Avenue was discovered around 9 p.m. by Gaithersburg and county police officers responding to an assault and battery in progress involving multiple people, according to a Montgomery County Police statement released early Monday. The apartment building is across the street from Gaithersburg High School. Police are looking for two suspects in Miranda-Fuentes’ death, said Officer Diane Tillery, community services officer for the county police 6th District station. He was stabbed and beaten, she said. An autopsy will be conducted at the Medical Examiner’s Office in Baltimore. Lt. Paul Starks, director of the county police Media Services Division, said county police had no additional information to release as of 1 p.m. Monday.
