Queen Anne boys roll past Washington Waldorf at home
Wright, Haley lead way for Lions in 65-43 senior night victory
The Queen Anne School boys' basketball team celebrated its senior night on Thursday with a 65-43 win against Washington Waldorf.
The Lions used a 26-9 run in the second quarter to pull away. Senior captain Edmond Wright led Queen Anne with 24 points and eight assists in his final regular season home game. Junior Larry Haley added 23 points and 14 rebounds. Queen Anne will close the regular season at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Potomac Valley Athletic Conference rival Grace Brethren in Clinton.
