Police investigate homicide near Temple Hills nightclub
District Heights man found dead on Allentown Way
A District Heights man was shot and killed early the morning of Jan. 31 on the same block as a popular Temple Hills nightclub, according to Prince George's police.
After receiving a report of shots fired, officers found Darryl Maurice Robinson, 28, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds on the 5800 block of Allentown Way. Police are investigating whether Robinson may have been visiting Trade Winds, a popular restaurant and nightclub, at 5859 Allentown Way, earlier in the evening on Jan. 30, police spokesman Cpl. Mike Rodriguez said Tuesday.
Robinson, who lived in the 2200 block of Ramblewood Drive, was transported to a nearby hospital and was pronounced dead shortly after the 3 a.m. incident.
Police spokesman Larry Johnson said he was not sure how many times, or where Robinson was shot.
No witnesses have come forward to report seeing or hearing anything, and a weapon was not recovered from the scene, Johnson said.
